Click here to see the profile of this user 		ASE not working anymore - 2008/05/21 10:04 Hi guys, just wondering why "All seeing eye" is not functioning anymore. Did some of you experience the same issue? What I have found in the web is, that Yahoo stopped the service and therefore you cannot find scanners and pingers anymore... Any idea?
What would be a good alternative to ASE?

i had the same problem. And i found out, that when i turned off ping modifier the ase will find some servers. Report me if it works

Here you can download HLSW Server Browser, it's the first alternative to ASE.

Once filters are set up properly it gives you a good overview of all the servers you are interested in. Works with allmost every game.
Will try that ASE thing anyway and let you know...

...unfortunately it appears that original developers have left the project and are not working on further development anymore - really shame and pitty... That is also a reason why I am unable to provide you with the working url for download... still if you are interested to check it out - lemme know - ill archive it and send it o=over to you bro

Basically ASE was dropped by Yahoo, because people was ripping it off and never registering, didnt everybody pay for it? *giggles*

BUT, if you save the Ip's to your favourites, you can still refresh servers, and it works all the same, just dont change the scanner if prompted.

Nasty forum, its a post that Jeff updates weekly with IPs, just add them to your ase.

Simply do it 1 by 1

or, make a simple NotePad file, stick the list in there, and 'Import server list' and add them all to favourites.
