 weird problem here :S - 2006/07/27 21:01 Hey guys i got this little weird problem... see in quake3 when im playing in a server there always comes a text

Name "Sh4d0W" default "unnamedplayer"

And i dont know how to make it stop. Its pretty annoying
So please help me if you can Thanks

Funny thing is that I have experienced the same annoying thing to happen to me too...

I have really tried tons of things to get rid of it - luckilly at the end of mentioned tons of things - I have come to solution - root cause of this annoyance seems to be XFire - YES > XFire - you have heard it right

Try to exit XFire and start your Q3 again - YEP - its gone!

...tho - got no idea why this causes such behaviour :/
