Hey, I'de like to join.. - 2006/03/04 11:42
I have really taken a long break from the game Quake 3... I used to play it when it first came out, and years back. I used to play alot with Young'Un and he actually showed me to you guys, this was years ago. So now I'm starting to pick up quake 3 again, and I think its about time I get in a clan.. I also remember Error, and playing with Diablo before. It's good to see some old names in here, I just think that, if I join a clan, I would feel at home with this clan..

I can only say "very well written mate"... I have already tried-you out, explained you some stuff about our clan and so on. I think now it is only up to you to practice and show up around our members to convince em you are the right person to be recruited and to proove you are the nice person, good player and so on. Wishing yu good luck with that.
As per what I weighed you so far - my opinion - positive

Yeh man i remember you from ages ago ! If i remember u was quite a skilled player  .. I agree with Pablo mate. Just start hanging around with us, Talk nice and play perfect

^pABLo this is a big shock for you,for me to say this-well I have been thinking about this for a while, and one of my close friends agrees with me on this.You know i have [TERA]Clan and all that but i think its time for a change of clan?and i know a few of the /fA/ members aswell but i was wondering if you would concider me joing /fA/Clan.I would love to be apart of this clan because its not just about the gameing its about makeing new friends and chatting with them basicly having fun and thats wat it comes down to at the end of the day(thats wat i think)
I hope i will be aloud to join FragArtists and i have chatted to my dad about it already and its all fine with him,i will understand if you dnt want me to join group.

You remember trying out .. ?
Well u really failed on that man ! .. You said that u wanted to hang around with us in servers.. Now unluckily not many players are playing in 1.32 .. They are most seen in 1.30 !

I was told I failed in the try-outs I had..
You guys can do whatever you want to do, they're probably alot better players than me that want to be in this clan, and I dont wanna hold them up..I can find other things to do than Play Quake

Hey Dooper.
Just wanted to mention that there might be a slight missunderstanding in taking of what has happened so far. Yes, you have failed 1v1 part of the tryout, but as I told you theres much more - you gotta get known to crowd and to stick around us and so on. There are parts of it having still much more weight in value for me than 1v1 match. Most important part of tryout is who you are, what personality and attitude you got and if you are matching our crowd - not the 1v1 match - that is only a part of a whole to show me where you are as a quaker - not showing the rest of it...

Too many times I have found that people that want to join a Clan, worry way too much about their Gameplay.
As for me, I have taken on A LOT of terrible players....but their attitude was so great, they were a perfect fit. Over time, these unskilled players got very very good. They did not get good because they worked hard, they did because they, we were having fun.
For instance...there was a time, Hoody wasn't really good.... now he is fantastic, and still, a great guy. I am rambling...later...peace

As you just mentioned hoody here - I couldn't help myself not to remark that *NastyHoodlum is infact one of about 4-5 players, that had really very strong influence (at least I feel it this way) on me - of who I am and what I play like in the Quake 3 today...
...also what I've realized about 2-3 months ago - spectating *NastyHoodlum* is driving me nuts cause it feels like I am spectating myself there hehe
